Ashiana shortlisted for English Curry Award 2023

The Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant at North Muskham has been shortlisted for the Best Bangladeshi Restaurant in England 2023 by the English Curry Awards.
Sai and the Ashiana team are very grateful and humbled to have been recognised for this shortlist, especially as they are up against some very stiff national competition. Their Head Chef, Shimul Ahmed has been recognised previously in several national awards for the quality of his Bangladeshi cooking.

And the Ashiana has previously won Restaurant of the Year at the English Curry Awards in 2019 to we might be lucky again to bring him a trophy!
As ever, Sai has not been resting on his laurels this year, having just opened his third premises of a dedicated Ashiana takeaway at Ilkely in Yorkshire, in addition to the very successful restaurant and gardens at North Muskham and the takeaway at Long Bennington.
The awards ceremony for the English Curry Awards will take place in Birmingham in August 2023 and everyone in the Ashiana team has their fingers crossed that they will bring home another award to Newark.
Sai said: “Yet again, we have to thank our incredibly loyal customers for their support over the last year. Everything we do at the Ashiana is focused on ensuring they have the best Indian and Bangladeshi meal experience possible. We recognise that the competition in this category is very highly regarded and we are most grateful to have been shortlisted with them.”
