Ashiana shortlisted for English Curry Award 2024

The Ashiana Indian and Bangladeshi Restaurant at North Muskham has been shortlisted for the Best Bangladeshi Restaurant in England 2024 by the English Curry Awards.

Sai and the Ashiana team are very grateful and humbled to have been recognised again for this shortlisting, especially as they won the title of Best Bangladeshi Restaurant in England at the 2023 English Curry Awards. Last year, Head Chef, Shimul Ahmed was recognised for the high quality of his Bangladeshi cooking.

The talented team at the Ashiana are up against some very stiff national competition again this year. With Head Chef Sujon Ahmed hoping to follow in Shimul’s footsteps and bring home an award again.

The awards ceremony for the English Curry Awards will take place in Birmingham in August 2024 and everyone in the Ashiana team has their fingers crossed that they will bring home another award to Newark.

Sai said: “Yet again, we have to thank our incredibly loyal customers for their support over the last year. Everything we do at the Ashiana is focused on ensuring they have the best Indian and Bangladeshi meal experience possible. We recognise that the competition in this category is very highly regarded and we are most grateful to have been shortlisted with them once again. We wish all the finalists the very best of luck.”
